House is adjourned until Friday. Somewhere, I heard that the soonest Mitch would call back the Senate is Friday. But, probably not until the 19th.

The Dems waited to see what Pence would do. Pence could still do his duty on Thursday. Why are they not coming back on Thursday? Stuff behind the scenes on Thursday?

1. Good grief, Charlie Brown.

Cut them some slack, please. It appears that many of them have been working 24/7 around the clock since last Wednesday. I imagine Madame Speaker is close to exhausted. Let them have a couple of days off to recharge and regroup. Stress kills. Not to mention that they are risking their lives doing the people's work while under the threat of a deadly virus and reckless coworkers who may be infectious but couldn't care less. At the very least, let them take time to revel in their victory with this successful second impeachment. Surely, that counts as something.

2. The senate

Is in recess between sessions, the new session starts the 19th but if turtle and Schumer decide to call it back they can do that..turtle says no so that is the end of it.. Then Wed afternoon he is no longer the boss man there but it really doesn't matter much. He is then the minority leader if the vote him in again.
