Newly seated Rep. Barry Moore (R-Ala.) deleted his personal Twitter account after posting tweets minimizing last week's deadly riot at the Capitol and promoting baseless claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.
[W]e have more arrests for stealing a podium on Jan. 6th than we do for stealing an election on November 3rd, Moore said in one tweet, referencing the arrest of Adam Johnson, who was arrested after photographed carrying Speaker Nancy Pelosis (D-Calif.) lectern out of the Capitol building on Wednesday.
Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Detroit would be places I recommend you start, Moore added.
The Alabama Republican also claimed it was a black police officer that shot the white female veteran, referencing Ashli Babbit, a rioter who was shot and killed while attempting to force her way into the House chamber as part of the mob attack.
Moores account was first suspended and then self-deactivated, according to AL.com. His chief of staff told the publication that the lawmaker deactivated his own account after the suspension because of the censorship of conservative voices he saw happening.

Unfortunately because the majority of RepubliCons have no real backbone and are not true 'patriots' for this country or for the constitution, there's not enough votes for expulsion but in a country where true justice reigned anti-American filth like this would be.

(5,252 posts)More like he deleted the account to make sure it didn't come back to bite him, but like most people of his kind, cannot seem to fathom that anything put out on the interwebs is permanent. It is why I used to preach and preach to the kids at the school about wariness of posting anything because it will be there forever, regardless of what any site may tell you about deletions and whatnot. However, in some cases, this lack of understanding can be very beneficial to those of us who will take great pride in reminding these MAGAts of their treason and their accessory to that fact.

(1,910 posts)because had the mob gotten through, they would have killed many.
The tough guys were all pounding on the glass and threatening to kill whoever was inside. The brave (and crazy) one was the lady vet who after being brainwashed, still was brave enough to go through first. The fake tough guys all quieted down when she got shot.
Black beanie boy who chased the hero cop up the stairs is very lucky to be alive. In most cases he would have been killed first to send a message to the crowd not to come up those stairs.
