The members of Congress telling the nation to "move on" aren't looking for unity and healing, they're looking to avoid taking responsibility for inciting an attack on the Capitol

They said they wanted to *assassinate* the Speaker of the House and the Vice President.

How can anyone think doing nothing — just moving on like this never happened — is a good idea? That’s ludicrous.

on several occasions when I was a teenager. Fortunately, they didn’t and I’m a better adult than I would have been if they had. Part of growing as a human is accepting responsibility for our actions and sometimes we only do that when others force us to.

Accepting responsibility and taking the consequences for wrong doing.
That is the only thing that will heal the wounds.
