5. They're not waiting for impeachment

It's surely going to happen within the next 72 hours or so.

Senate trial is what will likely be delayed. But yeah, that shouldn't get in the way of criminally prosecuting him as soon as he leaves office on January 20.

6. Our D politicians are talking about using the impeachment process, 25A and any other means

possible against trump but I hear no one --- especially the prosecutor's office or DC AG preparing a criminal complaint against trump for aiding the insurrection to be served on him at 12:01 on 1/20.

Knowing he has an actual criminal complaint looming over his life when he leaves office is something he can think about in his final days.
