This is Congresswoman @laurenboebert, live tweeting Pelosis whereabouts to the traitorous mob on 1/6/21. Just before this, she informed the mob that they were locked in House Chambers. Leading them to the very leaders they were looking to EXECUTE. RESIGN #RemoveLaurenBoebert

(13,421 posts)I have to wonder if she was trying to save her own ass by sending the mob someplace where she wasn't. "Don't come in here--what you want is over there" might accomplish that. It's most certainly a coward's act, and absolutely wrong to do, but it might present an alternative motive.
No matter the true motive she needs to face consequences.

(32,095 posts)The reasons for her behavior were exactly what they appear to be. Since she's from Colorado, I hope she is forced to spend the rest of her life in Florence--in the goddamn Supermax prison, along with the rest of her ilk.

(43,345 posts)There is at least one insurrectionist, so far, who is detained for threats against the Speaker.
If she texted him, someone would like to ask her some questions.

(32,095 posts)She's even worse than the kook from Georgia. She not only needs to be removed from Congress, she needs to be prosecuted for treason.

(47,626 posts)I usually was kind of quiet the first couple of weeks. Insurrection was generally frowned upon by HR.
I was never a walk in, kick over the chairs and shit all over the lunch table in the first week or two as a classy act kind of girl. It's hard to keep a thing like that off one's resume.

(47,626 posts)yelling and raising hell before the mob descended. Its like it is just a performance opportunity for people like her, always putting on a show. No reverence or respect for the office she holds. I've heard so many members of congress talk about how in awe they were when they entered the Chamber for the first time. It was almost a spiritual experience and they felt so grateful to be there. Then so many of these republican clowns come to the Capitol and turn it into circus and this week, even a war zone. It is disgusting.

(86,824 posts)different federal agencies, taken and administered the oath many times and in two of them wore a badge. I have been so offended by the past five years that I have no words to describe the indignities i feel. Many of my cohorts feel the same. Had I the opportunity to work in that building, I would feel that I was experiencing the height of my career. This crap just makes me mad. When I get mad, my way of lashing out is to find a way of fixing the problem and rounding up others to help me do it.

(47,626 posts)and that others you've worked with feel the same.
I would think that the honor of serving in the House or the Senate would be met with great humility and gratitude. Then I've watched hearings where fools like Matt Gaetz or Jim Jordan thumb their noses at all those who have come before them. Gaetz with his stupid gas mask stunt and Jordan who can't be bothered to put on his jacket, both making a mockery of the office they hold and the oath they took.

(7,365 posts)She put Speaker Pelosi's life in danger. Amazing, truly amazing. She will be soundly reelected.
Sorry I am very cynical today.
