now that our legislators have suffered the fear so many of our kids across this nation have suffered.

I don't speak lightly of this. In 2006 my family had to permanently put my father away.
At the time he had over 50 loaded guns all over the house and was threatening to kill my mother, brother and his family.
He had a brain tumor and surgery in '91 and it was botched.
Mom wouldn't/couldn't take the keys or money away and he went to too many gun shows.
It's a free for all in Texas

A very good friend lost his grandson to suicide. If the kid hadn’t found his dad’s gun, he’d still be here. He’s still devastated about it 3 years later.
