About those zip-tie handcuffs seen in the attempted coup photos... did anyone else watch this?

On Friday, there was someone (on Don Lemmon's show?) who said the guy with the zip-lock restraints did NOT bring them with him.

He took them from a storage area in the Capitol building.

WOW, that speaks volumes.

How did he know where to find them?

The more I read/see, the more chilling it gets.

...he brought that tactical gear because he was afraid of Antifa & BLM.
So, he admits to bringing a combat helmet & a kevlar vest, but the ties were just found there.
He actually claimed he found them on the floor, picked them up, so he could give them to a cop when he saw one.
But, he "forgot" he had them.
He's a coward, a liar, & a fool.

One of my cousins was crying horribly and bleeding. When my aunt asked his older brother what happened, he claimed the little boy had bit himself in his back.

And that older cousin grew up to be....a Trumper.

I saw that too. thought that info was weird, and also the fact that he wasn't asked about it, he volunteered it at the end of the interview, like "btw, those zip ties were taken from a storage closet"...

In one, he's got his face covered and he's jumping over a railing.

In the other, he doesn't have his face covered and there's a guy standing next to him - he looks like his face is bloodied (yay!)

Both pics are from the floor of the House and the zip ties are clearly seen.

Lying sack of shit.

But, on the off chance it was from the building, perhaps tge same person / group that opened the doors, directed insurrectionists to specific offices & provided maps of the building might have provided access.

I'm sorry I can't remember the source of this information, but it was on one of the cable news shows I've watched over the past 3 days. The bag was described as one of the pieces of equipment that are kept on hand in the building for the Capitol Police force.

Anyway, it made sense to me and I can't think of any good reason to disbelieve it.

that the Capitol Police might have gotten the bag out of storage to use it, realised there were too many people to arrest, dropped the bag in the confusion and then some of the rioters pulled out the zip ties.

But on the other hand, there are social media posts telling them to bring zip ties with them.

In either case, running around the Capitol Building holding them is likely to land you in deep shit whether you BYO or not.

These Capitol Police restraints are different from those carried by the two insurrectionists.
Or so it seems to me.

or persons and is making sure people are aware of that. If someone took flex cuffs from a storage area, that would presumably be further indication.

House Majority Whip James Clyburn said Friday that the ease in which rioters were able to get into the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday suggests that someone on the inside of the Capitol was "complicit" in the assault.

"I do believe that something was going on," Clyburn told CBSN anchor Lana Zak. "They knew where to go. I've been told … by some other Congress people that their staff are saying that they saw people being allowed into the building through side doors. Who opened those side doors for these protesters, or I call them these mobsters, to come into the building, not through the main entrance where magnetometers are but through side doors. Yes, somebody on the inside of those buildings were complicit in this."

Clyburn suggested his inner office was targeted by the mob because there was "activity outside of my inner office where most people don't know where that is." "The office with my name on the door was not touched. But the office where I do most of my work in, they were on that floor and outside that door," the South Carolina Democrat said.

Clyburn also said he felt something was "amiss" Wednesday morning when he arrived at the Capitol and "the perimeter had not been established." "There were no security people on the steps. They were all out in a place which I thought gave low security," he said, adding, "They were not just derelict. You could say they were complicit."
