Why bother to impeach Trump when he's leaving

In just a few days?

Impeachment not just about removing him from office, but disqualifying him from ever running for office again. Got that?

The Constitution’s Article I, Section 3 provides for “disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust or profit under the United States” as a penalty for an impeachable offense. And unlike and impeachment to remove Trump from office which requires a two-thirds vote, the Senate only requires a simple majority to permanently disqualify Trump from ever running for the presidency.

There is plenty of cause to charge him if the dems want to stay in power.

I really don't see it happening. I hear a lot of BS excuses from republicans blaming "both sides" and none to Trump.

I think the case can be made that Trump is sufficiently dangerous and irresponsible that leaving him in office for even two more weeks is too long.

9. You get no argument from me that Trump "should" be removed.

If it was up to me, he would be gone months, if not years ago. I just don't think we will get 50 votes to convict him from the spineless republican senators, let alone 67.

Trump only told people to go to DC but he didn't tell them to storm in.

The people that stormed in are ANTIFA....

Totally not Trump's fault according to that person.

We will hear the same old same old "we don't know the heart of Trump" or that "Trump didn't mean any of this" BS.

say today. Low and behold, that's the type of BS I saw. Needless to say, my decision to leave that group is the correct one and I don't miss any of them.

Watching this today I see January 20 too far away. Too much damage could be done in that time. He wants to burn it all!

He needs all the shame our Constitution can give. He’s been impeached but not removed. He needs removed..no 2 weeks’ notice.
