3. Melania should have acknowledged Stephen King for her "Murder in the WH" motif inspiration.
There is something really wrong with her, IMO

4. Well, the Trumps are not known for their taste
Didn't Melania tell her former friend (who wrote a tell-all) that no one cares about "the fucking Christmas decorations?"
Clearly Melania didn't care too much. Trump and his-- whatever she is-- can't be gone soon enough. |

15. To me, they also look like the kind of holiday decorations that you might see..
..in a high end department store in a luxury shopping area or mall. An overly design-oriented back drop.

22. Yes. I suggested to my wife that we watch Fanny and Alexander
as our Christmas Movie. "No way," she said. So we're going to watch "Die Hard" again. It's also a Christmas movie.

for the official photos. Never could figure out who “they” were.
The red trees look like red uniformed soldiers lined up in the American White House. Like an inside joke between Malaria and who-knows. |

Honestly I preferred their decorations to the rest, although Laura Bush had a decent tree and the Michelle Obama’s trees were excellent.
And yes, the third lady Trump’s decorations were simply awful. |

But the Clinton's sticking gingerbread houses in the tree was also unsightly.

30. I remember the needlepointed ornaments from 1991!
I had just joined the American Needlepoint Guild which had made it a project for chapters to make those. I was a member at large since there were no chapters near me so I didn't make any.
Once the tree was revealed, I was disappointed - I thought the ornaments were too crammed together to appreciate. Barbara Bush was an avid needlepointer - one of the ANG magazines had an article about a rug she had made. It takes a lot of dedication to stitch an entire rug! For those who don't know, needlepoint is a specific type of needlework done on an open weave canvas, traditionally with wool yarn, though over the years the techniques and stitches have expanded as have the types of fibers used. |

34. What's notable about the squatter's photos is...
the only person in them is Mel. No Donny, no kid...
I bet they don’t even celebrate Christmas, because it would entail giving...something as alien, and foreign to the Trumps as Venusian unicorns. Heck, even if they were all in a shot together, everyone would be scowling. I think Melanoma does it because she thinks, “I am beautiful now, like anorexic supermodel on catwalk, yes”. Trump undoubtedly does it because there’s a little loser’s voice inside his head that says, “Must look tough, must be intimidating or Daddy won’t love me”. |
