5. I wasn't thinking of imitating

Scrooge's exact experience. Trump is not redeemable. I was thinking more along the lines of something that would scare him out of the White House. Maybe a voice and vision from Washington, Lincoln, or FDR, warning him to leave the country or promising riches in a distant land.

Underneath the meanness and bluster, there is still a scared child who is vulnerable to superstition. Think of the gangster in the Bogart and Bacall film, Key Largo, and his fear of the hurricane.

Maybe the voice could tell Trump that he has been chosen to escape a terrible meteor if he hunkers down in a Siberian cave.
