UK has a headstart on the US and everyone else in approving the Pfizer vaccine and vaccinating people. Further, there are about 66M people in the UK which is roughly CA+TX. UK pre-ordered 40M doses meaning they can vaccinate roughly 1/3 of their population right away or 2/3s if they can secure 40M more doses in the next 3 weeks.
