Politico & Mary Trump: Trump's lost before. This time's different.

Snips...
Donald Trump has never had a week like the week he just had. On the heels of the Supreme Court’s knock-back and the Electoral College’s knockout, some of his most reliable supporters — Mitch McConnell, Vladimir Putin, Newsmax — all acknowledged and affirmed the fact of the matter. Trump is a loser. This is new territory for Trump....

“He’s never been in a situation in which he has lost in a way he can’t escape from,” Mary Trump, his niece and the author of the fiercely critical and hugely bestselling book about him and their family, told me the other day.
+++
The only moment in his life that remotely compares to what’s happening right now is early 1990, when Trump was mired in a high-profile marital breakup and billions of dollars in debt. That spring, according to Vanity Fair, Trump ordered in burgers and fries and stayed up late in bed, staring at the ceiling. Sometimes, he paged through periodicals looking for his name.

But even when he was all but broke, he got to keep living in the penthouse of Trump Tower, the building that had made him famous. “He was always there in his castle,” Alan Marcus, Trump’s publicist later on in the ‘90s, told me. This time, he’s getting evicted.

This is the collapse of one of the world's worse psychopathic narcissists EVER, in line with those like Saddam Hussein and Napoleon.

Some fear he may be on the way to a complete mental breakdown. Fingers crossed that he won't do something even more extreme and insane before inauguration day. We just want him gone for good.

simply losing an election does not make one a LOSER.......it is Trump's actions since the election that make him a LOSER

4. Trump Doesn't really think he Won the Election
Sat Dec 19, 2020, 01:57 AM

I have seen people say that Trump thinks he actually won and that's why he acts the way he does.

No, the reason he acts the way he does is because he has always had people that saved him from getting into worse trouble. From his dad giving him money after his business failures to Putin's interference in 2016 elections.

And even while he was in office he always had someone like Barr and others that protected him .

He is angry because he thinks people should have done the same for him for the 2020 elections. Maybe he wont actually win so they have to do something to fix it for him. That's why he is angry at Georgia's Republican officials . It's not that he thinks they are lying or anything like that , he is angry they aren't fixing the election for him.

And the election loss isn't just about the election loss but about losing the protections he had as President and all the chances for his grifting.

He will also have much more attention on the things he does not compared to before he ran for President.

so he does everything possible to sugar coat and deflect from a loss. In other words, narcissists of his type know they've lost but create a massive shit storm afterward, thereby building an alternate reality so that no one thinks he lost.

We all know that a well balanced human accepts losses, admits to them, learns from them and moves on. Trump never had to learn that normal process in his youth. I often wonder if he was conditioned to be this way by Fred.

Having one through life in the school of hard knocks in a country environment, it's hard to even contemplate people of this nature. I assume they are also prone to attract others of that same type.

Her own father, Trump's older brother, sounds like originally a basically normal person born into a very abnormal family. He had his own ambitions (to be a pilot) but he just got derailed too early on and lost his dream job because of alcoholism brought on by his father's bullying.

Donald got propped up to be the golden boy because he also had his father's sociopathic tendencies and was willing to play the model son, which mostly consisted of being ruthless, arrogant, and concerned about absolutely nothing but money and appearances.

I'm close to some people with personality disorders. Their perception of reality is bizarre. Everything is filtered through their emotional fears.

Deep down, Trump thinks he's a loser ever day, and he can't deal with it, so he masks the fear with bluster and all the things he does. He doesn't have the emotional capacity to confront failure and loss.

He's probably alternately raging with curling up in a fetal position.

He's cracking. He's not broken yet, but the fact his reign is up weighing on him, or so I believe. He's not Putin, he didn't get to be a dictator like he dreamed. It's all falling apart.

He has his grift with his PAC, but that does nothing to prevent state level cases, or the other damage brought down on his name. Which was all he had to make money from. Now he's reduced to his gullible supporters he's fleecing, and the Republicans foolish enough to get in line for his PAC monies. Fools he openly disdains and low hanging fruit of the GOP. Oh, I forgot he has the My Pillow guy. Only the best for Donnie.

Perhaps, just perhaps, he'll experience equal suffering, anxiety and destruction as he's bestowed on our nation.

Thank you for the post. I understand that people just want him gone for good. I do too. Having said that, I want him to be investigated and, if tried and found guilty, imprisoned. I feel the same about his enablers if they committed crimes. We can let this one go. We can NEVER let a "Trump" happen again. It'll be the end of our Democracy if we get an intelligent sociopath who doesn't say the quiet part out loud....

Sometimes I think being truly good is more difficult than being "great."

If you're obsessed with being "great" like Trump is, it's all about the ego. Being sincerely good is about helping others.

because once he's down there, he's unlikely to go back to DC. He'll convince himself we don't deserve his greatness. Then he'll start plotting revenge against everybody who's wounded him while paying lawyers to delay things to keep him out of prison.

I don't think he's on the way to a breakdown. I think he's going to live for revenge. It's what malignant narcissists do.

Of course, his fall was made even more epic because it was accomplished by a bunch of absolute nobodies who went to the polls in sufficient numbers that all their cheating was overcome. There is no way he can exact revenge against that.

.... is that the local government there has a binding agreement that NOBODY can live at the place for more than seven days at a time, and no more than a few weeks a year. On top of that, the biggest and best dwelling there is off limits for any human habitation. Period. The locals do not like Mr. Trump and would like to see him move somewhere else.

There's always Moscow.

Or Scotland, if he hasn't burned all his bridges there, too.

.........

I still have serious doubts this teflon jerk will ever serve a day in jail. I do feel prosecutors will eventually bankrupt him. It won't be long until the cult of deplorables move on and quit sending him their money, especially after they figure out he screwed them with his 2016 tax bill.

But if he does surprisingly go to jail, there will be one hell of a party on DU.........
