Normally it’s a pure formality. It will be again tomorrow - but it also will be more meaningful than ever given President Trump’s efforts to undermine our Constitution.

Then by 11:30 PM my time (CET), the electoral vote should be a done deal.

What Trump apparently has a hard time understanding is that this is not some hotel refurbishing that he ordered, and for which he now wants to re-negotiate the price downward or threaten not to pay at all. The only similarity is that it's not his own money that's being laid out for the work. With the hotel, it was borrowed money that he had no means or intention of paying back. With the election, it was already paid for by us--the taxpayers (I know, I know, Trump asks who's THAT, and are they into real estate?*).

Just like Democrats are not going to defund the police, Republicans aren't going to defund the electoral process, either.

The ironic thing these phony flag wavers don't get is that if the election had legitimately gone against us, we would have suffered their taunts and accepted it. They can wave all the flags they want, but at the end of that day, we are the greater patriots by far.

*In a way, yes, we are into real estate, but not hotels. However, if it's something like the Louisiana Purchase or Alaska, we'll listen.

I don't think it's sequential like that.

I meant starting when the electors meet. If 20 States meet at noon (their time), then twenty states should report at half past noon, their time (FYI).

To me there is no such thing as 12:00 AM or PM. How can 12:00 be ante or post meridian. It has always confused me.

if there's 9AM 10AM, and 11AM, then logically the next hour is 12AM but seems like convention calls it 12 PM.
( although 12:01 becomes PM)

it's 12:00 Noon or 12:00 Midnight
