15. Tell me about it

Several years ago (3 or 4) I tripped on a bottom stair and took a hard fall. Incredibly painful foot/ankle and couldn’t walk at all. Iced it overnight to no avail, so went for X-ray next morning. It really felt broken, but turns out I just badly tore the ligament. I thought that was a relief, better than a break ... but no, the doctor said the ligament was almost worse.

It took a really long time to heal, and left my left foot quite weak. I’ve built it back up with daily foot exercises, which I still do, but I think it will always be a bit weaker than the right. It’s fine for normal activity, but I won’t be doing any double axels again (not that I ever could!)

from minor to more serious. I really hope this is minor and quick healing!

the time and even when younger (the dog(s) and me), used to toss them into the air and catch them! The dogs loved it and so did I.

Love it. I hope that Mr. Biden's ankle does get better, that is a bad location for an injury...I did whack my ankle one time w/ a bowling ball (of all things of course) and it hurt like the dickens, and even put a tiny bone fracture in it, it healed while requiring no cast or anything (the fracture was so small) but it could hurt like the dickens if you stressed it too much.

I love Mr. Biden already...he is human!

27. Recovering from a foot/ankle injury

Right now. Fell down a drop off and sprained it then stabbed myself in the ankle with a sharp piece of Oklahoma flint in early October and I still have a healing scab and swelling. 🙄 Getting old as a klutz is gonna suck.

32. A couple of years ago I spent a weekend competeing with my dog in Agility.

After all the training, conditioning and finally competing, I returned home victorious only to step off my front walk ( 2 inches) and destroy my ankle. Best wishes Joe. I get it! RICE!
