9. So long as Trump is capable of issuing pardons, Rudy won't speak a word against him.

For one thing, Rudy needs one himself. For another thing, Rudy can sell whatever small influence he has by virtue of staying loyal to Trump (or try to) to other crooks -- just like he has been doing all along.
