So how do you plan to celebrate the end of the Trump regime?
White wine with the lover of my choice here. I am so elated. Anyone else?

2. On the Saturday after the inauguration...
...I am hosting a Masqued Inaugural Ball at a local dance studio. There will only be about 5 couples there in a very large ballroom and all must wear masks except when drinking or eating. We will wear our fanciest dress, and all couples are Democrats who want to celebrate the Biden/Harris victory.

8. Honestly, I don't feel comfortable letting my guard down
I won't be drinking. It's going to take awhile until I'll feel like I can relax. The last almost four years have been total hell in many ways.

11. January 20th. I will probably decorate as if it's New Year's Eve.
And celebrate accordingly.
I'm telling you. People will feel like celebrating. They are going to maul the mall. |

13. I am going to take an opposite approach
I will STOP drinking when he is gone.
I blessedly don't clearly remember a lot of the past four years, so it is time to reengage with reality on a more consistent basis. |

14. Champagne
Lovely spread of crackers, cheese, smoked salmon, caviar, and something sweet like chocolate.
And then maybe a good night’s sleep for the first time in over 4 years. If I wait until Jan 20 at noon, this might mean a long afternoon nap following all those treats!! Who cares! We are going to have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

We had no idea we needed to pace ourselves.

17. Inauguration day I will be in DC.
Probably going to be quite a party. Thanks to the violent nuts I'll have my eyes peeled for suspicious people or packages.
