My grandma is 86 years old. She voted in this election, for the first time in her life.

She says about herself that she doesn't understand politics, that it's too complicated for her and that she doesn't know what the parties stand for. But she said that she understands that Trump "is mentally ill" and had to go.

Whether it was Joe’s humanity or Trump’s lack thereof, this was a valid reason for voting.

and are ambivalent about them. I get irritated when someone can't see how unsuited for office a politician might be, however. Glad your grandmother decided to act in this instance. We're lucky we were able to have a fair election and dislodge the motherfucker. Then again, it isn't really over yet.
