Stacy Abrams at 08:48 am this morning (wednesday)

Here's where we are:

1. Local elections officials are taking the time necessary to make sure every eligible vote is counted.
2. Trump is losing and trying to crown himself the winner.
3. Voters choose the future. We fought for fairer elections and it’s working.
4. We expected all of this.
5. Now comes the hard part: Wait and don’t panic.
6. We can see the path to victory running from north to south.

We’ve got this, y’all! #Election2020

I was lucky enough to be able to vote for Barbara Jordan
in my first election back in 1972.

I was just a couple of years out of college when I saw her
speak at Miller Outdoor Theater and got to vote for her.

I also taught at the school she attended in Houston. The
older teachers told some great stories about her. She was
quite a legend.

And don't even get me started on her great questioning in
the Watergate hearings.

You've been such a great leader, and an awesome person.

I just cannot believe we did not take the senate, nor that the Biden vote is so close, even with more votes to count.

Most of those votes are in heavily Democratic areas. Biden has to win about 63% of that remaining vote. It doesn’t seem like that big a lift.

Delivering Georgia? Piece of cake. Restoring respect for US on the world stage? Leave it to the next Secretary of State, who has the same name as Stacey Abrams.

said Abrams will be likely be offered a plum cabinet position or other position in a Biden-Harris administration, and that Atlanta Mayor Bottoms will run for GA Governor in 2022.

I've no doubt the president will pursue this course. I look forward to the 2022 midterms. I'm also pretty sure the international stage will have some sort of surprise role for us to play.

to know that 50% of the country is straight up racist and voted to take away their health care. They totally lack empathy and don't care that over 200,000 Americans have died. This really shocks me.
