"It is *very* tight"

MSNBC has on a Telemudo reporter giving us the story of a Telemundo Florida poll wherein Biden is up 5 points in a poll with a 4.5% MOE. And she is stressing it is tight. Not the lead. The TIGHT.

It's been my thought that I'd prefer the polls be a bit biased toward Trump. David__77 Oct 2020 #14

Because the MOE is for each individual rating.

If it’s Biden 50-Trump 45, it could be as high as Biden 54.5-Trump 40.5, or as low as Biden 45.5- Trump 49.5.

I don't really see a downside to such a thing. And I also don't see much downside to the "horse race" thing, other than that people may find it stressful.
