ATTENTION former LIBERAL Democrat runs as a conservative Republican just 4 years later (Keep kicked)

What will the cavers do about this? Remember the web site they put up about me when I ran for city council? They should be having a field day with this guy. He was left of me. I (Omaha Steve) nominated him for the CHAIRMANSHIP of the county D party AFTER his Congressional Primary defeat. This guy is an opportunist. He sure scrubbed his past away from view of conservatives!

What will the cavers do about this liberal D in an R costume?

Snip:

This is the first Legislative bid for both candidates, though not the first political contest for Carter.

The Texas native, who grew up in a Houston suburb and is a major in the Air Force Reserve, made a bid for Congress four years ago. Then a Democrat, Carter thought he would be his former party's only challenger to incumbent Lee Terry in Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District.

But Democrat Jim Esch entered the race and hammered Carter in the primary. After that, Carter gave his support to Terry, who won. Carter then resumed being a Republican. He said he had left the GOP in 2006 because he thought the Democrats then were more in line with his fiscal conservative views. Disenchanted with the Democrats, he returned to the Republican fold in 2009 and ran Terry's successful 2010 campaign.

Carter is a combat veteran who served in Afghanistan and Iraq. He is seen as an up-and-comer among Nebraska Republicans. High-ranking members of his party have endorsed him, including Gov. Dave Heineman, Bellevue Mayor Rita Sanders and Terry.

flipping his affiliation as fast as mcdonalds flips burgers (i know they don't really flip burgers at mcdonalds but it is the most recognized fast food joint).

He has done a 180 TWICE!!! Then a Democrat, Carter thought he would be his former party's only challenger to incumbent Lee Terry in Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District. Carter then resumed being a Republican (says anything to get elected)

Seems the cavers can't find that liberal stuff that got scrubbed. Ya they can trust him.

Is truly a treasure trove of fiction writers, and particularly covering character sketches.

I gotta give them credit, they do have an imagination.

(Once you realize that they are even more comical than free republic)
