Trick Or Treat Update From Last Night

As some of you know, I posted about 2 weeks ago the results of my "drive-around yard sign poll" in my suburban Columbus neighborhood (for those who missed it, it was Biden: 67 signs, Trump: 13 signs). Last night, we took our kids out trick or treating (don't worry, it was "socially distanced" trick or treating--no personal contact, people just left bags of candy individually wrapped for each child outside). I never expected to make any political "discoveries" last night, but one presented itself in a pretty glaring way.

Houses with Biden signs in the yard: 100% provided candy.
Houses with Trump signs in the yard: 0% provided candy. Not a single Trump house participated.

Seemed pretty "on brand" to me.

Which is tomorrow.

I am not planning on giving out candy as it is, and if someone knocked on my door two days early, I'd carefully show them a calendar.

Not exactly sure why, but it always is. Probably has something to do with safety, but I don't know what it is. Maybe they figure fewer people on the roads than on a Friday or Saturday night.

I mean, why not always celebrate Christmas on a Saturday?
