(25,986 posts)For all its current embattled status, Georgians are proud of the CDC. Kemp could try to vote, but I don't know that he'd get away with it without making a huge stink. Huge even for him.

(34,113 posts)that allow people unexpectedly unable to make it to the polls for health reasons to have someone hand carry the ballot to them and hand carry it back.
I'd be very surprised if Georgia doesn't have that option.
ETA: They do have that option:
Election officials will deliver an absentee ballot to voters confined due to a medical emergency in Arizona, California, Georgia, Minnesota, Vermont and West Virginia.

1. AB: On Friday, 9/18, I emailed (not USPS) my GA AB request to my county BOE office and followed up with a phone call the same day to confirm that it was received and all was in order. It took 4 weeks for me to receive my AB via USPS on 10/19. I dropped it off in person at one of my county BOE drop boxes several days later. Must say that Georgia's online AB tracking system is pretty impressive. Besides my initial confirmation call to the county BOE, I was able to track various steps online including its final receipt and approval. NOTE: The deadline to receive a GA AB request was 10/30. If Gubnor Jethro could pull some strings and obtain/complete/return his AB in one single visit, this would be the way to go. He would encounter the least amount of people.
2. In person: This is obviously the Jethro route since for the longest time he had no idea the COVID could be spread by someone with no symptoms. Plus, he is an arrogant dumb ass which negates public shaming as a viable deterrent. Oh wait, Sen. Perdue was publicly shamed and humiliated by challenger Ossoff in their last debate prompting Perdue to cancel their final debate before the election.
3. Provisional ballot? Yes, crickets. He played himself.
Finally, I hope all involved are safe and wish them a speedy recovery. Prayers for a cure for stupid.
