What do you think? Electoral College (EV) with DC and Puerto Rico as US States

a lot of talk right now about Trump and the new SCOTUS rigging the 2020 in Trump's favor. But what happens in all those states that elect a Democratic majority in the Senate? Sure they can rig the election on EV but they can't rig the Senate vote. End the filibuster? Start a new impeachment against Trump? Adopt DC and Puerto Rico? I don't think any of these thoughts are unreasonable considering what we have been through for the last four years. Opinions?

It guess it depends on how big of a democratic senate majority is there. Claustrum Oct 2020 #2

It is a great idea to make both DC and Puerto Rico
into statehood.

If Re pub want to win votes, they should come up with 'real alternative'.

I was reading about post election market outlook.

Can you imagine the best for the market? Get this.

Blue wave!!

I am almost sure we will have some deflections. That means, if Trump is close enough to win by the SC, I doubt we will have enough of the majority to do these sweeping changes. It's more possible if Biden wins big and get a 53+ democratic senate majority. But I rather they use their political capitals to unpack the SC first.

Don't forget Obama's ACA change and the backlash it draws from the republicans and the general public. I don't think the general public has the appetite for so many sweeping changes. Maybe one out of all those, but not all of them.
