FEC Commissioner: I hope you've been hacked, @GovMikeHuckabee...

I hope you’ve been hacked, @GovMikeHuckabee. Trying to undermine the faith of the American people in our democracy with this baseless voter-fraud nonsense? Publicly confessing to committing felony violations of AR Code §§7-1-104(a)(11)-(12)?

Not funny. Not cool. Appalling.

Don’t know what these guys think they’re accomplishing by committing these felonies. Then he confessed online like many other idiots following trump.

Fucking trump told them to try to vote twice. Remember people actually did drink bleach. They would wear masks if he told them to.

Any funny business in mail-in ballots after election day will no doubt be due to them putting fake ballots into the system to prove there was voter fraud and make a case to get the rest of the ballots thrown out.

he will win? Are there actually R's sending in several ballots per person, using different names? Will we have to spot check some ballots to be sure they are valid?

that the name is a real person who is still living and a qualified voter in the place where the ballot is sent? I've never voted by mail and have no idea how it works.

I can't speak for Arkansas with 100% certainty since I don't live there. However I've got to imagine that their voter database is connected to their DMV and the social security database. If someone tried to request mail-in ballots for his dead parents it would be hard because they're probably not even listed as registered voters. If someone tried to register them it would trigger an investigation.

The same thing if you are requesting a ballot for an imaginary person. You can't just make up a person and register them to vote because you need a social security number and a name and they have to match in the social security database.
Computer technology makes committing voter fraud almost impossible. And even the ones that may get away with it at first they're going to get caught absent some ability to hack the computer systems you know like Russia did.

If you request a second mail in ballot saying you lost your first one the first one is automatically cancelled out. If you tried to return it the computer system would flag it.

In Arizona the voter registration system is tied to the court system so if you get convicted of a felony the SOS gets notified and you will be kicked off the rolls. You'll get a letter saying you're a felon you've been removed from the rolls.

Considering how hard Republicans try to keep people from voting it goes without saying that in every state that they control the state legislature and the executive branch they are going to spend whatever funds necessary to ensure that the voter registration database is accurate and well-maintained and able to catch any instances of voter fraud. It sure is here in Arizona unlike any other state government function. And since he was the governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee damn well knows that too.

The funny part is there's going to be Trump supporters in quite a few states that are going to try to do this ( probably the ones that were lucky enough to survive drinking bleach) and are going to get in a lot of trouble and we should all point and laugh and them.
