President Obama in Pennsylvana - Excerpt from his chat

Adding the text in case I need to use it again.

One of the biggest tricks that is perpetrated on the American people is this idea that the government is separate from you.

The government is us! Of, by, and for the people. It wasn't always for all of us. But the way it's designed, it works based on who is at the table. And if you do not vote, you are not at the table, and then stuff is done to you. If you're at the table, then you're part of the solution.

A man of color, yes...but oh so much more as well.
A man of courage.
A man of honor.
A man of intelligence.
A man of empathy.
A man of true family values.

In short, a man I could point out to my boys and say, "THERE...THAT is what you want to emulate, THAT is what you should try to be like." Not like we have now, where all I can say is "There...that is what you NEVER want to emulate, that is what you should AVOID becoming."

I miss my last president.
I am longing for the words to ring out, "Our NEXT President of the United States, Joe Biden..."

I miss being NOT an international pariah.
I miss having a passport that could get me anywhere in the world.
I miss being unashamed when watching gatherings of world leaders.

I miss Barak Obama very, very deeply.
