(45,806 posts)aren't BIG Trumpers & not very political. I have to believe something they really care about moved them to register NOW. That is usually something that upset them. My guess is they're wanting the orange man GONE!

Seniors who are terrified of homelessness & starvation due to shitstain's promise to do away with Social Security & Medicare.
I know people in both categories who are 1st time voters this year. They have all reportedly cast ballots for all Dems.
People are not usually compelled to action by complacency. It is usually discomfort and/or fear that things could get even worse.
Also, those who are suddenly unemployed and not receiving assistance.
Let's not forget the >200,000 families whose loved one(s) has been murdered by the"pResident!"
