MI: Biden headed back to southeastern Michigan on Friday with two events
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will make a campaign swing through southeastern Michigan on Friday, with stops in Southfield and Detroit.
The former vice president's events come a day before President Donald Trump appears in Muskegon on Saturday afternoon with less than three weeks to go to the Nov. 3 election.
Biden's campaign said Thursday that he will deliver remarks on protecting and expanding access to health care in Southfield at 2:30 p.m. before attending what was described as a "voter mobilization event" in Detroit at 6:20 p.m.
No details were provided as to where the events would take place or any public accessibility. While the Trump campaign has been having mostly open events such as that scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m. in Muskegon, the Biden campaign has been more closely guarded about timing and keeping participation limited in order to try to reduce the potential spread of coronavirus.
