Trump is running against an imaginary version of Joe Biden.
At his Florida rally last night, as at previous rallies, he kept warning Americans about supposed Biden policies that Biden doesn't actually endorse:

(1,603 posts)The ones showing up at Trump rallies believe that the Earth is flat and the Moon is made of blue cheese. Reality means nothing to them.
His base is about 30% of the population. He's run out of money to run ads, he's run out of credibility to anyone with a brain, and as far as I can tell he's preaching to his choir when he should be out expanding out his base.

And that Mexico was paying for it all. Reality isn't much in demand at Trump's little Nuremburgs.
Trump has also found that his attacks on Imaginary Joe Biden aren't moving the poll numbers all that much. So he's more and more taken to insulting Kamala Harris and calling her names in hopes that his fanboiz will be skeered by the scary Black woman. Which I'm sure Trump sees as a reliable method to summon more supporters to his falling banner.
