I am still grieving his passing...

He was awesome, on so many levels. I cant believe I didnt lnow about his dutch immigration untill years later...he definitely made up for that rough start. And how cool he still remembered the names of his first friends

Never a big fan of his...just wasn't my style. Didn't think much about him at all really, one way or the other.

Now, I'm a fan. Maybe not musically, but as a person. RIP.

but I was four years old and was made fun of and ganged up on in the bathroom. I was a terrible little spoiled fiend and I didn’t understand what the mean girl was saying but I stuck her head in the toilet. Next day the police came to our house. But comically, no one liked the bully girl or her family and I became the first grade popular kid, lol!

If you want to get more insights into Eddie read one of the better bios: https://www.scribd.com/book/386740714/Edward-Van-Halen-a-Definitive-Biography

Wish it had updates since its 2011.
