Just when I think I could not despise these people more I surprise myself by uncovering new depths of disdain for them. Right in front to them Trump fakes the easiest Covid infection ever, putting yet more lives at risk by his reckless disregard for the severity of getting infected. The MAGA gaze on adoringly as he attempts to shrug off Covid-19 with $1 million medical treatment that they - not he - paid for, while an average thousand people, folks just like them, die every day – all of whom did not get the medical treatment Trump did. Due to his catastrophic administration, there are over 214K dead and counting, and yet still they proclaim: "What a guy. Four more years!"

They are so reckless not only would they happily get infected and die for Trump – they are willing to infect you and force you into potentially making that sacrifice also. Just horrid people.

But Trump is just another Charlie Manson, a David Koresh, a Jim Jones.
Insight into the internal dialog of the followers of those three show the same illogical and convoluted thinking that makes it 'all right', the same logic Trump followers use.

(And no, history will NOT repeat itself - Trump won't end up like those 'leaders', and I won't end up like one of their followers. Trump followers are convinced of that.)

Yesterday, thousands of retirees crowded together, mostly maskless, to see Mike Pence in the hot sun in The Villages in Florida. They very clearly had little concern for their health. It was 90 some degrees and humid, and some of them got overheated and required medical attention. I'm sure plenty are suffering greatly from sunburn today - even in October, the sun is fierce in the middle of the daytime in that part of the world. We'll know in a week or so if it was also a Covid-19 superspreading event.

But every other time we see maskless people gathering without social distancing it is a super spreader event. I'm becoming more cynical about the right encouraging the death of their people, but it's the innocent people that these people come into contact with my heart goes out to
