Oh, it's not like some people here on DU don't scream and shout like they think most polls (or even all polls) are rigged to play psychological games against them, but not as many, and not so adamantly.

And Democrats, for good or ill, spend a lot of time worrying about losing.

The Republican plan seems to be to ignore ALL contrary reality and vigorously assert victory is coming, no matter what. An army of Baghdad Bobs -- perhaps with a bit of an assist from an army of Baghdad Bob-Bots.

And Christ, what a self-centered universe these people live in to think so many people loooove their orange savior so deeply. Democrats are at least a whole lot better at understanding there are a lot of people different from themselves.

I also think a lot of them believe in "positive thinking" as if it's a magical power (not merely a unguaranteed motivator), and the complementary superstition that if they have doubts, voicing their doubts is a jinx, so they must lie to themselves and the world to disempower their doubts.

will still count mail-in and "newly found" ballots for a month until
they declare Biden the winner of "the popular vote". The Electoral
College will elect Trump anyway and the Left will be calling for its
elimination, as usual.
