NC Senate poll (Ipsos): Cunningham +5

Reuters

* 47% of likely voters polled Sept. 29 to Oct. 6 said they planned to vote for the Democratic challenger, former state Senator Cunningham. Cunningham last week issued a public apology after sending sexually themed text messages to a woman who is not his wife.

* 42% planned to vote for Tillis, with the remaining voters undecided or planning to vote for another candidate. Tillis has tested positive for the coronavirus, and said he would isolate at home for 10 days. The number of undecided voters had risen slightly for the last poll two weeks ago.

Maybe Donald Trump's anchor is too heavy to even be lifted by the pearl clutchers.

Cunningham confirmed the story Friday, October 2

That's why this poll is not entirely reliable, since half the sampling was prior and half afterward

tying every Democrat to Pelosi, Schumer, Omar & AOC. Doesn't appear to be working. Fingers crossed.

I get my TV out of Georgia, and they also run South Carolina ads, so I see them all. They're doing the same to Jon Ossoff and Jaime Harrison, too. My sister in Arizona says they're pulling this kind of shit on Mark Kelly, too. Lots of accusing them of being in bed with China, and being raging socialists, too, among other bullshit. It's no different than any other year, other than that guys like Lindsey Graham and Joe Wilson are having to run ads for the first time ever.

for him. He & outside groups are spending big here. Dems seem to have the money advantage this time around. Good luck in GA.

But, yeah. It's the same for Jaime Harrison. There's a good chance Leningrad Lindsey will be going down. The only thing that surprises me is the lack of negative ads against Raphael Warnock, who is running in the GA special election. The two GOPers (Collins, Loeffler) are spending what they have beating up each other. The good Reverend may squeak this one out. Good luck to him, and good luck to y'all in NC, too!

We’ll just to wait and see. I’m hoping for the best, but all of this could have been avoided in the first place had he not made the selfish, idiotic decision to commit infidelity while running for an important Senate seat. Ugh.

Even if he wins, I’m sure his career is probably over beyond this.
