I wish they'd just put him on a ventilator and sedate him

It would quiet things down a little though all his inner circle would continue to lie, whine, and spread the disease. It’s too bad someone is not tracking infections as a function of political party.

That's a promising scenario. Not as helpful as just dying but at least it might shut him up captain queeg Oct 2020 #15

every time he opens his mouth or pulls a publicity stunt like driving around while ill People hate him even more for putting his staff at risk, etc. People are seeing his BS more clearly now and the emperor has no clothes. Keep talking and making sham videos Don, your poll numbers will continue to drop a few points.

Analgesia and sedation agents have been shown to be immunosuppressive in a variety of models. In vitro models use a variety of immune cells to demonstrate the immunosuppressive properties of opioids, benzodiazepines and, to a lesser extent, propofol. In each case, animal studies provide more robust data supporting the concept that opioids, benzodiazepines, and propofol exhibit immunosuppressive activities ranging from innate to adaptive immune alterations. Human studies, though more limited, provide further support that these agents inhibit the immune response. In contrast, data has shown that dexmedetomidine may attenuate the immune system. Clinical trial data evaluating the immunosuppressive properties of these agents is limited.

A friend had permanent damage that surgery could not repair, losing his voice nearly completely; he could barely manage a hoarse rasp.

If Trump goes on a ventilator and survives that ordeal, he could face some debilitating consequences. Problems with mental cognition are also common in patients on ventilators for more than a couple of days.
