HEADS UP: The White House has conducted another photo shoot in @realDonaldTrump’s suite, according to a source familiar.

I’m told one reason for this is that White House officials wanted to swap out the telephones pictured here because they “looked too old.”

8. He's all about the optics

One thing that has been said about the guy over and over, is that he has a real sense of TV as a media, how things look and how others see those things. He knows what looks good and what doesn't. After all, he has been manipulating the media for 40 years.

I've said this before, and so have many others;

He is playing a part in a reality TV show of his own making, in which he is the star, the writer and the producer.

He isn't "The President" by any stretch, because he didn't, doesn't, and never will understand what that (being the head of state) actually means and entails.

But he is playing the part. And he LOVES it.
