the Prez does not have 'personal relationships' with foreign leaders...like Joe's hero, Bill Clinton did!!! Gag me with a spoon...
Joe is now a great Internationalist!!! WTF!!?
He's really angry with Mika...abusively so...he's a prick.

He was really and truly verbally abusive to Mika this morning.

Horrible...

(14,894 posts)Joe CONSISTENTLY talks and jokes over her to not allow her to effectively relay the news if it in any way is negative to Rs or positive to Ds. And, the fan boys all laugh and giggle with him.
If any of them had a sack, and were willing to lose their cushy little gig, they for ONCE would say, STFU and let her speak.

he laughed at all of the racist and sexist jokes.

(1,701 posts)I am glad that you started this thread because I also felt disgusted by him. He won't let Mika get a word in edgewise-- nor will the other male guests on the show--until the subject is teenage pregnancy; then she is allowed to say something because she has daughters that age. The way all those men treat her is a disgrace, but Joe is by far the worst. I don't know why she doesn't quit that job; she could do better. Joe is a jerk; even when he has a good point to make, which occasionally he does, he is so aggressive and condescending about it that it is hard to listen to him.

(9,893 posts)It is an interesting read. The piece makes a case for the importance of personal relationships in Middle East diplomacy. Perhaps this is an area where the President could improve the situation in his second term, which I have no doubt he will receive.

JUST what I was thinking. They all seem to pat her head and send her to bed. Scarbore is especially condescending

However, Joe acted like his usual assholic self for the first hour.
He acts like a tired 3 year old who needs his nap.

(14,894 posts)all this bs about personal relationships and how great Clinton was with it ...
That is why the dipshit Rs in the House spent 10s of millions of tax payer dollars and convened dozens of official investigations into him before bringing up articles or impeachment on him ...
THAT is what all that work on relationships got Clinton ...
They hated him with a passion at the time, just the same as President Obama.
And, 16 years from how, when they are doing the same bullshit to a democratic president they will be running around saying how they wished her or she was a good guy, like Obama was.

(26,060 posts)I was thinking if he had forged a relationship with anyone in the mid-east, they would be saying he was cozying up to Muslims. He simply cannot win with the right so ignoring them is the only rational thing to do.

(13,159 posts)She does try to state her opinions, bless her, but she doesn't stand a chance against Joe who was obviously brought up to believe that he is always right and that bullying women is the cool thing to do. And his butt boys are too afraid of losing their place in line for kissing rights to step in and tell him to STFU.

(2,391 posts)Nobody who knew him was probably that shocked, only when he resigned. Tool. It's just hard to tell if he's unraveling because the ME from that investigation has been arrested with incriminating 'material' or if Willard's campaign spiral depresses him that much. Or both.

(11,746 posts)Not to defend Scar here, because I shared the same reaction to him this morning as most posters here. I saw Mika make an interesting face at someone on the set and one of the thoughts I had was that they should give the show over to Mika. However I don't find Scar to be the most odious and irrational. At times he actually makes sense.
This time, not so much. And who was the guy who claimed that President Obama gives speeches as if that was the end and not the means, and then gets on planes?
I seriously doubt that this is true.
