(81 posts)I think he has a better chance vs Graham.
McGrath didn't run a smart campaign and she is in a uphill battle and I don't know if it's very winnable.

(32,894 posts)The people in his state rate amongst the lowest of all states by almost ever measure. You cant fix that. They are suffering but refuse to stop it on their own behalf.

(4,986 posts)I have, and will again. Theres still room in the budget. I look at it like this, if Im willing to give theres someone else like me also willing to give. Whether its $3, 5, 10, or $20.20 it all adds up.

(7,263 posts)I'd love to see Amy in the Senate - but the numbers are really bad right now - double digits with about 8 weeks to go. She would make a wonderful Senator. But...realistically...
$$ would be better spent on races where opposing Dems have a realistic chance to win, and take away the turtlehead's majority.
Like Jaime Harrison in SC - now charging from behind and tied with Ludicrous Lindsey, or Sara Gideon in Maine, neck and neck with Concerned Collins right now.
We only need to turn 5 or 6 seats blue and keep all the ones we have. (Alabama, unfortunately, is probably going to flip red.)
We can send him a message that way - take away his toys.

(7,873 posts)Donate to a candidate that actually has a real shot at winning, like Cal Cunningham in NC or Steve Bullock in Montana. Maybe even Jaime Harrison in South Carolina. I would say Kelly/Gideon/Hickenlooper, but I think those three are almost assured of winning as is.

Better to donate to close races.

(4,986 posts)Cmon, now, she isnt a bad candidate for Kentucky, and she has done quite well. Moscow Mitch benefits from extra press as a cronys incumbent. McGrath has been in this fight the longest, and that said, I have zero criticism against Booker. So her polls flagged towards the late primary votes? She needs funds now, not tomorrow or next week.

McGrath is very unlikely to win, and we need to take back the senate. Tossing money at her is not the best use of limited funds.
