This type of event has been over hyped ever since I started posting on the internet. Countless times on this site alone. Somehow everyone expects a punching bag who cowers and concedes in a pool of tears.

Meanwhile it's invariably a placid type who is heavily lawyered and rehearsed, equipped with plenty of bullshit numbers as deflective cover. That's what we are going to see. And likewise with Pence in the vice presidential debate.

I don't mind taking the hit as someone who points it out. They have their suppression tactics long considered and well in place, and there are more of them than we sense right now.
