Critics charge that the administrations policy on the Migratory Bird Treaty Act was nothing more than a cruel, bird-killing gift to polluters.
Conservation advocates and critics of the Trump administrations subservience to corporate polluters celebrated a federal courts Tuesday decision throwing out a December 2017 Interior Department opinion that effectively gutted nationwide protections for migratory birds by letting industry off the hook for incidental killings.
This decision represents the next vital step on the path to restoring our nations declining bird populations and is a major victory for birds and the environment.
