he believed these employees were gathered from.

I'd like to suggest that how these career federal officers are being used is worse than if they were illegal or illicit "mercenaries." Honore and others, in any case, believe they are committing genuine crimes, including the judge who issued a temporary restraining order against their activities in Portland.

And THAT'S the point. The crimes these federal agents are being ordered to commit against citizens and the rule of law.
