So he asks Rep. Dean from Pennsylvania what attorney general Barr can say at his hearing that would make her feel better about him.
Hey Chucky, why dont you ask a Holocaust survivor what the head of the American Nazi party could say to make her feel better about HIM? How long is it going to take this dumb ass to realize he is not part of their club, and that they hate his fucking guts? Moran.

(82,849 posts)The Attorney General put forth a specious argument about the President being so far above the law that the other branches of government had absolutely no power over him. Barr presented that argument because he truly believed it or because he wanted to please the president or some other nonsense, and all nine justices said he was 100% wrong. That makes him unfit for office, no matter why he advanced such a bullshit argument.
Would that make you feel better, chucktodd?

(58,785 posts)the one time I heard her talking about Hillary. She became renowned talking about Trump, so I'd been waiting to hear how she performed on that topic. Somewhat over the top with the aggressively hostile tone, but she got the point across -- she would give MSNBC what they required of their daytime talking heads.

(58,785 posts)one with great prospects. Why else would MSNBC be plugging him into every time slot they can use him in without his collapsing from overwork? He came through for them in 2016 and is doing his best in this very different environment where Trump is running against a trusted white man instead of an Evil Woman.

The comment from O'Rourke came during a vigil for victims of the shooting, which left at least 20 dead, after the former Texas congressman and El Paso native was asked by a reporter, "Is there anything in your mind that the President can do now to make this any better?"
"What do you think? You know the s--- he's been saying. He's been calling Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals. I don't know, like, members of the press, what the f---? Hold on a second. You know, I it's these questions that you know the answers to," O'Rourke replied.
He continued: "I mean, connect the dots about what he's been doing in this country. He's not tolerating racism, he's promoting racism. He's not tolerating violence, he's inciting racism and violence in this country. So, you know, I just I don't know what kind of question that is."

(21,577 posts)It is designed to make the person being asked look bad because if they say nothing can make them feel better it molies youre have no objectivity, which then makes your position moot.

(25,556 posts)Which made a lot of sense. Just like Michael Dukakis did when Bernard Shaw asked him the rape question. She should have done the Beto thing mentioned upthread.
