(23,379 posts)if you dont have one upon entering the store. I think it should be a choice for the business to offer them if they want to do that and can afford it. I co-own a small business. We require masks be worn by anyone coming in our place. I certainly cant afford to provide masks to customers.

(19,942 posts)if you don't have one. But, the great thing is that most Italians (unlike Americans) don't even leave their homes without a mask on.

(23,379 posts)Hes an emergency room physician at one of our local hospitals. He was saying that if every American would wear a damned mask, we could conceivably shut the virus down. I guess I shouldnt be shocked at the selfishness of Americans...but I am...and so disappointed.

(1,336 posts)(and White stands for what we experience falling from the sky in winter!) Costco demands that we wear masks. Hand sanitizer at the entrance and a free mask if you're not wearing one.
As a private business, Costco has every right to refuse entry to (and eject) the idiots who won't follow Costco's rules.

(84,216 posts)No caring citizen of the US should ever leave their house without a mask. If they cared one bit about themselves their family, friends and all others they would do so.
He works/ worked for an insurance company, I doubt he is poor. Fact is masks are easy to make, washable to reuse. In case you did not know, we have a huge PPE shortage and you want a store to provide them to idiots that refuse to have any decency to protect themselves and others.

(26,859 posts)There are still counties that have had virtually no cases at all. There are other counties that need to lock up tight.
As for why businesses should have to foot the bill. I'm guessing that you're talking about Costco's practice of providing a mask if you don't have one. There isn't any legal or moral reason why they should... but it isn't unreasonable for a company to facilitate shoppers doing business with them. They spend enough on advertising to get you to enter the store.

(66,637 posts)his neighbors with a gun for playing music too loudly. He sounded like he was reading from a list of NRA-approved things you can say in order to commit murder and get off on a stand-your-ground defense.
He was on record saying things like:
"I'm standing my ground!"
and
"I'm in fear for my life!"
IIRC, he shot (and maybe killed) his neighbor, and then got sentenced to life in prison, convicted by his own recording.

How pathetic does one have to be to yell at one of our elderly citizens like he did?
I got a feeling that this POS is going to find it hard to find any job now being that they all know what a pathetic LOSER he is, as well as a big loudmouth.

(3,741 posts)As we all know, insurance companies never want to pay out any monies to their clients. I want an investigation of the Ted Todd Insurance, it is not enough to just fire him. It's not like they just learned about the kind of person he is. I bet he discriminated against poor and minorities with policy payouts. Pay out to the white rich folks, screw the black family, the poor guy/gal.
