Food for thought on why trump* leans forward when he stands.

Sent to me by a friend on FB.

In 1888, a lecture was given by Jean-Martin Charcot, a renowned French neurologist and professor of anatomical pathology, in which he noted precise differences and characteristics of the PSP form of Frontotemporal Dementia, even before it had its own name. The sketched picture of the leaning man was a part of this lecture.

Now, compare to how trump* stands and acts. Admittedly, he has displayed some of those 'characteristics', pretty much his entire life, but who knows when the signs and symptoms of neurological problems actually start to show.

Anyway, food for thought.

He has to push his ass backwards and ass hole upwards to accommodate all the heads dwelling up there. Easier access for Pence, CONway, Barbie spokeswoman, Hannity and Ingraham. FFS, I can’t list them all. Pompeo has a huge head, as does Hannity. All that HAS to create a forward lean. He stand like Carl from Sling Blade. Ummmm!

He's heavily drugged to give some semblance of lucidity. But he's going to quickly reach a point where even that won't make a difference and he'll melt into a whimpering, incoherent puddle. It's only a matter of time. I wonder what his minions have cooked up as an exit strategy? Or are they even thinking that far ahead? Or are they even thinking at all?

Sat May 23, 2020, 03:17 PM
May 2020

He's trying to disguise the size of his gut. As an overweight man myself I know from personal experience just how prominent the belly can be in a normal posture. It also explains why he habitually sits slumped forward, cand why he prefers to be photographed with his head tilted back..to hide his neck wattles. He may well have a medical condition that explains his bizarre posture. But overweening vanity in an otherwise short, dumpy fat man works very well as a reason.

I always attributed it to the lifts he wears in his shoes. But when combined with the other items, it leads me to strongly consider dementia.

Admittedly, I've dealt with family members who had dementia so I'm a bit sensitive to picking up on a number of things I've seen him both say and display.

Sat May 23, 2020, 04:53 PM

I've got a bad back and have all sorts of posture issues and it switches over the years.

Trump doesn't have a bad back, but he doesn't exercise and he isn't in shape. He is overweight and he runs around trying to impress people. He also wears shoe lifts and may have bones spurs in his heels. It's probably just an accommodation to all of this.

Writing off his demise is what has been going on since 2016. He's still around.

Donald Trump mocked over 'ill-fitting' tux at state dinner with the Queen

...snip...

Trump was compared to a cartoon character and even Frankenstein.

"OK, I was gonna make a joke about how Trump looks like the bit from Young Frankenstein, but, honestly, that's unfair to how well tailored the Monster's tux is," tweeted David J Bradley.

Maybe white-tie trends have changed? But no, wrote Jonathan Evans, the digital style director for the men's magazine Esquire. He says Trump's version was just wrong, most obviously in that the white waistcoat hung below his tailcoat.

"Donald Trump's outfit. It just isn't right... right? It's not easy to put your finger on the exact cause of the problem, but you don't need to know the ins and outs of white tie to know that something is not right with this situation," Evans wrote.
