Hmmm. I saw toilet paper for sale -- at Ace Hardware.

I think it was the "institutional" variety, as purchased by businesses, schools, hospitals, etc. Single rolls in a paper wrapper.

If you're still having trouble getting TP, I'd suggest calling janitorial supply cos. They should have a glut of unsold supplies about now.

3. I finally got some from Amazon yesterday

We ordered it a month ago because Amazon thought they might get some. So we figured we might as well get on the list. 4 packs of Angel Soft, yippee!

We can't go into the stores so we submit pickup order for groceries. So far we've had several pickups but King Soopers (Kroger) hasn't been able to provide any tp. But now we have enough to last us a decent while.

MAGA!

4. TP truly is the real MAGA.

I wish Amazon had any links to either Angel Soft or Cottonelle. I did get some through Ebay, but I did not recognize the brand and if it is anything like that single roll at the convenience store, it's not gonna last long.

9. We aslo scored a huge box of Genuine Joe tp at Amazon right before we ran out a while back

The rolls are smaller than all those huge rolls companies offer these days. But it turned out to be very decent and pretty strong. No shredding or pilling.

It was 50 cents a roll. But now a seller is offering the same huge pack and it's about a buck a roll. Lousy gougers. I wonder if they got it at the lower price like we did and are hoping to double their money. I can't help but be cynical these days.

how he wanted to be paid (i.e. cash, credit, check).

He told me toilet paper would be fine.

7. there are major stocks of commercial TP in warehouses... It isn't soft, it isn't multi-ply, but

it is fully functional. The problem is they don't have marketing chains in the home market. Surely if shortages continue the big box stores will grab up their stock.

But yes, wholesalers that supply restaurants and businesses have these items. Many will sell to the consumer.

11. I've seen a lot of that at Amazon

Another type of tp that has me curious is the 3-ply that appears to be an asian style. There's a lot of that sold at Amazon. I suppose you just use a lot less. So if we get desperate we might order some. Luckily we have enough to last us a good while.

The thing is, I don't trust the opening up of states. Polis seems to be cautious. But we have no plans to take trips or change our sheltering behavior this summer. We're just too vulnerable. As we all are, really. And luckily our big yard will keep us busy. So far, so good!

14. My local donut shop was selling industrial TP for 40 cents a roll, their cost

Our local Ace was selling the same TP for 99 cents.

TP is now readily available in my town, however, finding the smaller packages is still a challenge; I don't want to build an addition to my house just to store a cotton bale sized package of TP.
