The smallpox blanket.

Last edited Mon Apr 20, 2020, 09:06 AM - Edit history (1)

Does anyone remember a cowboy and indians movie, way back in the yonder past, black and white even, where the white settlers, with the help of the military, used smallpox to wipe out the indians? The final scene was a comeuppance where the indians captured and tied down the military or civilian leader to a pole. As the indian braves road their horses around him, one by one, the indian women walked by, dropping smallpox infested blankets on the white leader. Soon, the guy was sick with smallpox.

So, when I see the predominately white population of right-wingers protesting sound medical advice that is meant to protect us from the coronavirus, I'm thinking, "Cheez, it's like these idiots are voluntarily walking around wrapped in smallpox blankets."
