become reinfected? Has that been documented or are these just cases about someone who hadn't been fully recovered?
If those reports are true, then it would debunk any claims about building up immunity.

(8,827 posts)Positive for 40 days now with no symptoms. They are a husband and wife. My friends adult daughter has been sick for 2 weeks with all the symptoms and tested negative although her dr believes she has it. My friend is taking care of her 4 yr old grandson because she doesnt know if her daughter has it or not.

(25,939 posts)aren't very reliable and there are very high rates of both false positives and false negatives. As high as 30% each.

False negatives are common with PCR
