Mitt smirked for a reason - he really thought he had a 'Gotcha' moment against Obama

Is this what we want for our leader? Someone trying to one-up another leader in time of crisis?

I really think he left that stage thinking this was the defining moment that would show how he was better suited to be president over Obama.

Who is advising this guy? Dumbass McDouchery?

He's either the worst person and politician ever to run for President, or his candidacy is an elaborate performance art piece.

Mitt didn't try to one-up *another* leader.

President Obama is our leader. Mitt tried to usurp the role of leader and anoint himself leader.

In so doing, he managed to prove beyond all doubt he has no leadership ability and no business even running for President. Trying to usurp the role= Massive fail Getting the facts all wrong = massive fail Not even knowing the difference between an embassy and a consulate, or the capital of Libya = Massive fail.

Massive, massive, massive fail, at all levels.

and then I realized that his smug, smirky, arrogant look is the look I remember seeing on the rich, asshole fratboys as they hung over the rails of their houses on game days, brewskis in hand, making disparaging remarks about "the fat chicks" walking by.

Now we'll see Queen Ann come out and tell the American public
that he meant well and that she's the only one who can truely understand such a complex man.

Then, she'll take him by the hand and lead him off the stage.
Come on honey! Let's go home and you can fondle some money.
That always makes you feel better.

He's on a downhill roll and pushin' all the way down.

Somebody's got to write a book about his advisors.
Are they telling him to say these things or is he just
a bit "tetched in the haid?"

As one commentator has observed, this ghoul has yet to offer his condolences.

He lives above it.

And he finds this situation great.

He's wrong ... but he really thought this was great for HIM ... and never thought about what it means for the people killed and their families.

You're right about the smirk: he thought he'd hit a home run. Totally clueless.
