(11,949 posts)I could call my nightly cigar therapeutic. Because it is very relaxing.
But its gonna do nothing to keep me from getting sick. No more than some tea.
And I drink green tea every morning. Love it. But it not providing protection from a disease.

(11,949 posts)If you find it soothing and relaxing go for it. But dont think it will have any effect on a virus.
And some herbal concoctions sold to desperate people actually can damage organs. None can help fight off a virus.

(11,949 posts)From a scientific standpoint. Which is where is where I live. Buy if the make you feel relaxed Ive got no problem with them.
My real concern is two fold. Once we reject science some people will rely on them at the exclusion of real data. The other that some con-man or well meaning nut is recommending taking something that can cause harm.
Have a nice evening.
