General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsThe rough beast just claimed the US has tested more people in 8 days
than South Korea has tested in 8 weeks. Seems typically trumpish to me and I want to call bullshit.
All I have is that South Korea tested +/-250k in one month since the first case compared to the US testing +/-1000 in our first month.
Any help?
On edit: I fixed the 3 too many zeros or 1 too many k's in the US number (>1000k)

batshit crazy.
He needs to be removed now.

(70,627 posts)... stamping out auto bodies, bumpers, hoods, doors, and so on and then start
making ventilators or a production line that put together engines can now start
making surgical grade face shields is just fucking nuts.
BTW if you had given the engineers, machinists, tool and die folk, line workers,
the job to make something you can be sure that they could have done it but the
pure horse shit from Trump about the auto plants making medical gear now is
just fuckin' nuts.

(32,017 posts)Its a trademark feature of the Cluster B personality disorders, and Trump is an obvious narcissist. In his mind, if he believes it, then it can come true (or, it is ALREADY true). In this case, however, I think he knows that our automakers are NOT re-tooling to create ventilators, so I chalk this Trump insanity up to his pathological lying and not his magical thinking.

But yes, testing has ramped up considerably recently. It's still not enough though.

Agreed. The total number worked for illustration purposes in the smaller samples of a few weeks ago. The percentages or per capita numbers are more useful now. thanks for the link.
