At Meijer:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8 a.m for senior citizens and people with compromised health issues
Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-8 a.m. for first responders and essential service workers.
At Aldi:
Tuesdays and Thursdays, stores will open at 8:30 a.m. and reserve the first hour of business for vulnerable shoppers. This includes senior citizens, expectant mothers and those with underlying health concerns.

(26,324 posts)I admit that I wondered about the same thing. I'm in the 'senior citizen' category. If they want to flatter me, I have a driver's license, too, so they can card me.
