If ONE or MORE states decides to postpone their election because of health concerns, WHAT HAPPENS? TY in advance!

(115,847 posts)Under the Constitution, states control their own election procedures, so a state could, and occasionally does, change the date of a primary. As to the GE, the Constitution gives Congress the power to set an election day, which has to be the same for the entire country.

(17,030 posts)I'm just asking if they COULD do something to postpone their election? I'm NOT saying they will. I'm just asking IF it's at all possible they COULD do something like this?
